Satin has always been the material of occasions. You took it out for someone's wedding, for New Year's Eve, for the end-of-year gala. The rest of the time it sat in its box, wrapped in tissue paper, waiting for a reason important enough.

The autumn/winter 2026 collections brought satin to the forefront in footwear at the houses that matter. From satin ballet flats to sandals and heels, the material appeared collection after collection - in soft shades, with a discreet sheen, crafted almost like art objects.
